Refund Policy

Last Updated: 1st May 2025

At www.patsyrobertsoncreative.co.uk, we want you to be completely satisfied with your art purchase. This Refund Policy outlines your rights and our procedures regarding returns and refunds for art purchased from our website www.patsyrobertsoncreative.co.uk.

1. Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order and return your art for a full refund within 14 days from the day you receive the art.

This "cooling-off period" allows you to change your mind about your purchase without needing to provide a reason.

2. How to Exercise Your Right to Cancel

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement within the 14-day cancellation period. You can do this by:

*  Email: Sending an email to [Your Returns Email Address] with your order number and stating your intention to cancel.

*   Contact Form: Using our contact form on the Website and stating your order number and intention to cancel.

You can use the model cancellation form provided in the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, but you are not required to.

3. Returning the Art After Cancellation

If you cancel your order, you must return the art to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation to us.

*   Return Address: Please return the art to: 2 Long Street, Tetbury, Gloucestershire GL8 8AN

*   Packaging: The art must be returned in its original packaging and in the same condition as you received it. Please take reasonable care when handling the art.

*   Return Costs: You will be responsible for the direct cost of returning the art to us. We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method to ensure the art is returned safely. We are not responsible for art lost or damaged during return shipping.

4. Condition of Returned Art:

You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. This means you can handle the art to inspect it as you would in a physical shop, but if you use or damage it beyond this, we may deduct a sum from your refund to reflect the diminished value.

5. Refunds

If you cancel your order and return the art in accordance with this policy, we will process a refund to you within 14 days from the day we receive the art back from you, or (if earlier) 14 days from the day you provide proof that you have returned the art.

We will refund the full purchase price of the art, including the standard shipping cost you paid when placing your order. However, if you chose a more expensive shipping option (e.g., express shipping) at the time of purchase, we will only refund the cost of the standard shipping option.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

6. Exceptions to the Right to Cancel:

The right to cancel does NOT apply to:

*   Personalised or Customised Art: Art that is clearly personalised or made to your specific requirements.

7. Damaged or Faulty Art

If your art arrives damaged or is faulty, please contact us immediately at [Your Returns Email Address] within 2 days of receiving your order. Please provide clear photographs of the damage or fault.

We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include:

*   Offering a replacement (if available).

*   Arranging for the art to be repaired.

*   Providing a full refund.

We will cover the cost of returning damaged or faulty art to us.
